  • Runs with included software, Microsoft Media Center, and other 3rd party applications like SageTV
  • Tunes HDTV/Digital (OTA or QAM cable) and Analog (OTA or cable)
  • Included application works with TitanTV for 2 week recording scheduling
  • Includes FM tuner that works with Microsoft Media Center)
  • Works with clearQAM under Windows 7 Media Center
  • Includes remote, but only works with included application

CONS
  • Included application is very flaky, not recommended
  • Can overheat and shutdown

COMMENTS:
  • Once again ATI has solid hardware and drivers, but includes crappy software in this case Arcsoft.

    This tuner works fine with Microsoft Media Center for both over-the-air and cable. Also tunes unencrypted digital cable channels when used with Win 7 Media Center. Latest drivers will be automatically downloaded in Win 7 and Vista when you plug in the tuner.

    This is a hybrid tuner so tunes either analog or digital, but not both at the same time. It includes a FM tuner that works in Media Center even though it is not listed as a feature.

    Included remote is cheap and can't be used with Media Center. The included antenna can only receive a good signal if the the broadcast tower is within 20 miles or less.

    Again only for Media Center users, you XP guys should go with something else.

    The tuner has been reported to overheat after prolonged use, although I did not have that problem.
