COMMENTS:- This USB stick tuner is an HD/digital tuner only, not a hybrid (no analog tuner). This is a bare bones product. The Arcsoft software is flaky, but will tune/record/timeshift digital (QAM) cable and well as over the air. The included antenna won't pick up anything unless your broadcast towers are less than 20 miles away.
The thing this tuner has going for it is price. It's probably the cheapest you can find on the market right now.
You will need an analog tuner and decoder software if you plan on using it with Microsoft Media Center 2005, but it can be used by itself on Vista Media Center.
I would recommend getting a USB extender cable so you don't have to plug the tuner directly into the USB port.
