Hi, I’m Russ,

A couple of years ago, I bought a HDTV tuner for my PC so I could record and time shift HD shows cheaply. I first just watched on my computer monitor but soon had one on the living room HDTV, and began helping friends install them on their PC's.

I started this site so people wouldn’t have the long learning curve I experienced. Of course, I had lots of fun experimenting (read that playing) with the tuners, but I know most people just want to install a tuner and watch their favorite shows, live or recorded without a lot of hassle. The site is designed not to overwhelm new or potential PC tuner people, but to provide the information you'll need to get up and going fast and painlessly.
