ATI Remote Wonder Plus Install for Vista     The Remote Wonder Plus (from the ATI HDTV Wonder package) will work under Vista using the following routine. NOTE: According to one site visitor, Microsoft second tier support is now pointing people to this routine when they have problems with installation of the ATI Remote Wonder under Vista Media Center. First, plug in the remote receiver into a USB port. You should get the following screen:
Select "Locate and Install Driver Software". Vista will download remote drivers and then you will see the following message at the lower right:
NOTE: If you've already been trying to get the remote wonder to work, you probably won't see these messages. Just follow the rest of the routine. Go to www.ati.com select the Driver & Software section, then select the following:
Click go, then download the multilanguage version and install.
Reboot, when directed by install routine. After the reboot, you'll get the following two error screens.
Click "OK" on both. These are one time errors. Next, download the x10 drivers (download here) Unzip and run. When the install is complete, you will see the Remote Wonder icon in the lower right system tray.
Your Remote Wonder Plus should now function. NOTE: If you move the remote receiver to another USB port, you may have to rerun the X10driver program. Give your comments on this routine
