• This is an excellent tuner for those wanting a PCI based analog over the air or analog cable tuner, and a digital over the air tuner. Vista View is a relatively new tuner manufacturer, but they have been excellent in support of their products. The analog hardware encoding on board helps save CPU processor overhead and the picture quality for analog cable or local over the air channels is very good.

  The drivers are easy to install and work for XP, MCE 2005 and Vista (32 & 64-bit). QAM capability is built in to the digital tuner, however most tuner software (including Media Center, SageTV and BeyondTV) does not support QAM for the tuner at this time. There is hope that someday Vista Media Center will support QAM.

  I definitely recommend the Saber DA-1N1-I for it's good value, ease of installation, and excellent performance.
